Best service, beautiful staff, fabulous food..everything was AMAZING. A fabulous hotel, its easy to get to by public transport, airport bus & then the tram to Sultanahmet, stay on the left hand side of the street & its further above where the tram goes.The property is stunning & the staff, all of them but particularly the man in reception..I think his name was Ahmet & the lady that runs the restaurant & most beautiful room where you have the most stunning breakfast including freshly made eggs & omelettes. Our room was beautiful & a balcony you could sit with a small table & chairs & the most amazing bathroom...I would rate our experience 20/10!. .

Family trip. This hotel was lovely. The service provided by staff was amazing. We had a wonderful experience and we strongly recommend this hotel. Breakfast service was amazing. The reception staff were very helpful no matter what time or day we asked. The hotel has a wonderful Turkish feel to it and it is very close to all tourist places. The lovely lady made the mistake of amazing coffee. We are so grateful to all the staff. We will definitely be back.. .

Perfect in every way!. This is a beautiful small hotel and in our room, everything worked and was well maitained. The rooms were cleaned daily and the morning breakfast was perfect with a wide range of choices including juices, fresh fruit, yoghurts, variety of breads and croissants and a cooked breakfast option too. A special mention to Sevgi who always had a welcome smile and would take very good care of all the guest and really enjoys her work. She works very hard and still had time to be chatty with the guest. The location was great. It was within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, St Sophia mosque, Tokapi palace and tram lines. Hotel is private and good value. I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again because our experience was a pleasure.. .

Highly Recommended Hotel. Aside from being located near many must see attractions, the staff is beyond kind and helpful. We especially were impressed with the breakfast staff. Sevgi greeted us with a bright smile each morning and, along with Hila, made sure we had an excellent dining experience. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The call to prayers definitely got our attention but added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was exceptional and made our visit to Istanbul a pleasure!. .

Where East meets West. Visited for 4 nights with my brother and on the whole can recommend this hotel. We were given two small rooms with a view of Hagia Sophia. There was work operating overnight on the site of the mosque that did disturb me. The bathroom definitely needs upgrading. The hotel itself is kept spotlessly clean. It is ideally placed in the heart of the Old City next to Hagia Sophia (as you will find out with the morning Call to Prayer), it is a great base to visit the sights. Staff are friendly and we were greeted with a smile at breakfast by the ever helpful Sevgi and other staff and all will help with any problem. Great value. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel, Matbah, ideal for dining after a long day's sightseeing.. .

Overall good experience. This hotel is at a perfect location. The room was quite small and very basic but The Hagia sophia is literally 2mins walk from the hotel and the tram is just right outside the hotel. The staff was amazing especially the lady called Sevgi and the whole breakfast crew.. .

May 2025. We had a very pleasant stay at Ottoman Hotel Imperial! What touched us the most was Sevgi, one of the staff of the hotel, who welcomed us each morning at the breakfast and each evening at our return to the hotel with the bigest and warmest smile. Thank you for the amazing experience! We can’t wait to be back!. .

Great Stay in a Perfect Location – Wonderful Staff.. We had a great stay at this hotel during our trip to Istanbul. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to iconic landmarks like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. It’s also very close to a tram station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. The hospitality truly stood out. Sevgi made our mornings special with her warm and cheerful service at breakfast. Cemal was incredibly helpful with our luggage, always attentive and kind. And Memeth at reception gave us a warm welcome and provided excellent tips and support throughout our stay. The whole staff made us feel like home. The room was clean and cozy, with a lovely view. The only area for improvement would be the bathroom, which felt a little dated and could use a refresh to match the rest of the hotel’s quality. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. With such a great team and perfect location, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Istanbul!. .
